IB programme Head
Ms. Aleena graduated from Brunel University London with Bachelors in Contemporary Education with applied Psychology. Her teaching career started in Pakistan with her voluntary work in Shaoor Schools for underprivileged children which ignited the passion for education in her. Alongside her degree, she also worked with schools in Londonincluding William Patten Primary, St Christina’s School, Southbank International School. She completed Safeguarding and Working with children certified training from London. Furthermore, she was appointed as the activity leader for activity camps and after school dubs by the company, Fit for Sport London. During her time at Brunel, Ms. Aleena was selected by her university for a summer programme in Colombia on scholarship regarding cultural integration in education. Ms. Aleena also completed a course from University of Cambridge regarding Counselling and Coaching. Her prominent achievements include her book about Education which recently got published with the title It’s Education But Not As You Know It’. Ms. Aleena is spearheading the International Baccalaureate programme’s implementation in our school as she is IB trained herself. Aleena is the key member of the core team of HIVE School. She is committed to lead the IB programme and the English department of the school.
